system doesn't match up to how metacritic interprets scores. So I've heard. All 5/5s aren't 100s or 4/5 stars 80s or something along those lines.
a problem with this comparison if console warriors hadn't put multi-platform games vs exclusive games so many times this gen.
To be frank these two games are on two entirely different levels. And I've never seen people make articles about how maybe we should pick this game over something great like Bioshock. Or heaven forbid Halo 3/Gears of War.

21/20. It broke the charts. Seriously though, the lighting and detail in GT is insane. They must have some type of l337 LoD system at work because it's sort of like God of War when the camera zooms in.
Uncharted 2 if anything sound-wise is a bit over the top for a game, but a 7 for something that can be in 7.1 and was recorded at Skywalker? Wow that's crazy.

exactly. Nintendo had IPs that outsold Modern Warfare and Halo 3 combined. Mario Kart Wii sold more than Halo 3 by a sizeable margin. NSMB Wii should have no problems replicating that on the 360 version of MW2 and Halo ODST.
what do you know....just like the 360 price cut last year that overtook PS3 sales by the end of year, the EXACT same thing is happening this year with the slim. Except it happened in about 3 weeks lol.

who thought Uncharted 2 was just another sequel with small improvements is the group they're sending a message to. IW won't lose any sleep over not winning GoTY because they'll be laughing all the way to the bank when MW2 releases.
both Halo ODST and GT PSP flopped? Bungie should've just focused on Halo Reach and Polyphony GT5. Very disappointed these two seem to be lackluster based off early reviews.

too modest and safe. This game is going to smash the first game's debut and lifetime sales. I expect at least 4 million and change a la MGS4 because this is a cinematic game appealing to the exact same people. Reviews are too high. Graphics hype. Plenty of shooter fans on PS3 that amount to more than 2 and half mil.
